And just like that another week is done!
Short Week Changes:
We have a short week coming up!
As a result, there will be no math homework or spelling words for next week.
There will be a reading minute sheet coming home on Monday (DUE Nov. 27).
Book Fair:
The Book Fair will be the week following Thanksgiving, Nov. 29 to Dec. 1. As a class, we will have the opportunity on TUESDAY, Nov. 28 to walk around and preview the books at the Fair. From WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY, the students will have the opportunity to visit the Fair again and purchase a book. This is a great opportunity to find a book for a Christmas present or see what books should be checked out at the library :). Thank you, Parents, for supporting HC in many different ways!
Book Fair Hours:
Wednesday (29th): 7:30-4:00
Thursday (30th): 8:00-6:00 (Maroon and White Shop will be there.)
Friday (1st): 8:00-1:00 (Singing at the Intersection, Cinnamon Rolls, Maroon and White Shop will be there.)
Class Chapel:Our class will have the opportunity to lead our school in chapel on Wednesday, Nov. 29. The chapel will begin at 10:35 and will end around 11:05. Parents, you are invited to worship with us!
Social Studies Project:
In Social Studies, the students have been working hard on different projects displaying what we learned about the geography of Michigan. The students could chose to make a poster about the state symbols, a clay model of a landform in Michigan, a Great Lakes' lighthouse, or powerpoint on the states' geography. We will display these projects the week of Thanksgiving and they will come home on that Tuesday before break.
Come in and look if you have a chance!
