Our third grade family!
Whew...What an amazing week! Our class had a FANTASTIC time at the Walk-a-Thon on Wednesday. I loved watching the kids race peers and siblings, hulla-hoop, walk, skip, and dance around the track. Thank you to those of you involved in the parent team for this fun afternoon. All the elementary buildings raised $40,000! Wow! We are blessed to be a part of such a generous, supportive community! Thank you for helping your child with this fundraiser.

SEPTEMBER 8, 2017

Convocation was an amazing experience! It was so awesome to see Preschoolers through High School Seniors gathering together to worship our Heavenly Father! It is such a blessing to be part of such a passionate, Christ-centered community! As a body of Christ, we were reminded to be God's farmer and cultivate shalom. As third graders, we are called to bring God's shalom among our friends through words of encouragement, in our classroom as we problem solve, and within our families as we obey our parents. AND children are not the only ones called to plant shalom :).
Playing some camp games with the 6th graders.

Mr. Hollebeek couldn't resist in joining our game.

SEPTEMBER 1 - WEEK 2: Complete

And just like that another week has flown by! It's been good to continue to "get into the school groove". I love watching this classroom of students become a classroom family. Their excitement for learning the Shema in the morning, spending 35 minutes silently reading, and listening to each child pray for the person next to them gets me excited for what this upcoming year holds for us. It was a GREAT second week!

Mrs. Troop taught us how to be a peacemarker at school and at home.

LUNCH HELPERS:
Many of you had an interest in helping during our Wednesday lunch time. Please use this link to sign up. I appreciate your volunteering SO MUCH!
