March 5, 2021

Each group practiced MUCH patience today.

They learned how a frustrated body can lead to more destruction.

Ali and Luci were starting over often! Lots of patience and calming their bodies down.

Will worked on one section of his groups creation.

Ally, Evie, and Allie Jane worked hard creating this masterpiece!

Luke and Gibson even added a ramp at the end of theirs.

Kole, Jared, Ethan, and Everett worked together by accomplishing different sections.

Ali and Luci finally turned theirs into Bethany Hamilton! (Haha)

Reid, Will, and Mason had quite the set-up.

They even used the ping-pong table.

Recorders - "What is that beautiful music coming down the hall...." May or may not be the recorder. It is that time of year for our fourth graders to learn the recorder. A GREEN note came home today. Please return the bottom half of the green paper by MONDAY, March 8. Thanks!

Maker's Fridays - To cheer up the LONG five weeks of March, our class is going to have Maker's Fridays. This week, we worked on creating domino chains. Through this I see the students working on communication, brainstorming, listening, and problem solving with different peers in the classroom. I love seeing them on task and working hard!

Next week, we are going to complete an "Egg Drop" and we are in need of supplies.
- recycled materials (cans, cups, bottles, cardboard...etc)
- tissue paper
- pipe cleaners
- plastic Target bags
- empty egg cartons
Send the supplies in at ANY time! Thank you for your donations.

Math Test - We are finishing up our unit on measurement (Metric and Customary Units) and we will have our math test on Thursday. A pink study sheet will come home on Wednesday night.

Conferences - Parent/Teacher Conferences will again occur via zoom this spring on March 29 and 31.  If you would like to sign up for a time, please use this link.  The master password is gohc.
