Week 8: October 16

These boys have created their own amusement ride on the swings!

Rose Park Families,

An area of focus for this school year is reflecting on and perhaps improving our process for communicating behavior expectations to students throughout our school community. Our desire is to always come alongside parents, teachers, and students to help our children grow into people of God. One of the central components of this initiative focuses on working to recognize and acknowledge positive student behavior. We have a team of teachers from across grade levels creating a school-wide system for teaching and addressing behavior in our students.

At this point, we would love to have your input about the overall "climate" of our school community. The survey should take 5-10 minutes to complete. Please share freely as responses are confidential.

Thank you for your input as we work to build and reinforce positive social skills and behaviors in students.

It’s a joy to partner with you,

Miska Rynsburger

Wednesday, Oct. 28:  Picture Retakes

On Wednesday, Ms. Joy from the Outdoor Discovery Center came and visited our school. She brought along a small toad and asked the students to create a small habitat for this creature. The students ran over to the woods and searched for bugs, leaves, and sticks to place in its habitat.

On Wednesday, the students were asked to write letters to our School board members. The Board of Trustees members were meeting at RP this week. Each student crafted beautiful cards and wrote encouraging notes. Through the whole experience, these students were SHINNING God's love.
