This will be the last blog post (I think) before Spring Break. I hope you and your family have a wonderful reprieve from the normal routines and schedules during the days of Spring Break. I pray that you will have time to revel in the glory of our crucified and risen Savior. I'll look forward to seeing everyone again on April 8!
HOLY WEEK - We will be using our devotions time at school this week to reflect on the death and resurrection of our Savior.
READING AND MATH MINUTE HOMEWORK - We will NOT have reading and math minutes again until after Spring Break (although I strongly encourage LOTS of reading during the down time in the next two weeks!).
WORD WORK - We will NOT have a word work (spelling) test this coming week.
Kinderparade: It’s time to think about Tulip Time! First through fourth grade families, please complete this form to indicate your family’s preference for costumes during our Kinderparade on Thursday, May 9, please complete this ASAP!
Rose Park (rescheduled) Family Festival: The Fall Family Festival has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 18 from 5:30-7. If you had registered for this fun family gathering in the Fall, your registration automatically transferred to the Spring. If you haven’t registered and would like to attend with your family, cost is $10 per family and you can contact Jennifer Neumann @ jsneumann12@gmail.com.
BOOK FAIR COMING SOON! Dear Parents and Families: Get ready! New books to encourage your student's love for reading are coming! Here's what you need to know about our upcoming Book Fair: Dates: April 24-26 from 11 am - 4 p.m. at the Intersection in Rose Park! Every dollar you spend will benefit our school library directly! This is our only fundraiser to add new books to the library. Last year our library gained 300 new books because of this fundraiser!
You can sign up for Book Fair eWallet on April 3 or later—a convenient digital payment account, so your child can shop the Fair cash-free. Grandparents, friends, and others can contribute to the eWallet to help build your home library. To sign up, link to the Book Fair Homepage and scroll to the bottom of the page. Sign up begins April 3.
